It’s been a while since I wrote my last post. I’ve had some downtime and have decided to get started with a random series on this blog called bad statistics where I pull data that should have no correlation whatsoever, draw correlation for no reason and put it out there.
This is the fourth post in as many as possible in this series.
I had another fantastic month of reading this time around.
I recently watched Avengers: Endgame, if you haven’t watched it yet, you should. It’s a lovely movie.
It was also my 3rd for the year and only my 6th since Jan 2018. A far cry from where I started when I first started cutting out noise.
A friend asked me to do a post on Universal Basic Income, a topic that has had it’s ups and downs.
I thought I’d do an overview of UBI and basic income schemes in general and give my 2 cents on it.
I spent sometime over the last couple of days doing a complete redesign of this blog.
As I’d mentioned in an earlier post, I’ve now moved all my content over to github pages and built this blog using jekyll.
I recently read the book ‘Deep Work’ by Cal Newport, atleast 8 people have recommended the book to me in the past and for some reason I just never got around to it.
I’ve been having a certain type of conversation with some of my friends over the past year.
It’s the end of Quarter 1 of 2019 now. It’s almost exactly a year since I published this post
I had a fantastic month of reading this time around.
