Its the end of the year now.

Same time, last year I was a broken man struggling with far too many things.

I’d lost more than I thought I possibly could have and had no control over my life.

I needed to do a lot of soul searching and try to put myself back together.

What I decided to do at the start of this year, on 5th January was list out things I wanted to accomplish in 2018.

I fleshed them out over the rest of the week, printed it out, stuck it on my wall and, made it my obsession.

I came up with a list of 18 goals initially and later added one more.

I’ve published updates for quarter 1, quarter 2, and, quarter 3.

This is my update for quarter 4 and by extension the year itself.

I had a 26.69% quarter in Q3 and was at 76.77% across all my goals.

I really just wanted to hit 90% somehow, I knew I wouldn’t be able to accomplish atleast 2 of my targets.

I ended up having a 14.42% quarter, my worst performing quarter yet, and have ended at 91.19% for the year, which is quite a lovely number to stop at.

I’ve accomplished 100% across 16 of my goals and failed to complete only 3 of them.

I’ve also overachieved on quite a few of my goals, my favorite ones being Reading, where I’ve gone way past 52 books (reading update coming later this week) and Weight loss, where I’ve hit my goal weight and more.

I plan to continue doing this next year, I’ll be posting an update with my goals for 2019.

I don’t know if I had a clearly defined purpose for why I did this, it just felt like the right thing to do.

Its been a fantastic experience for me to put in the time and effort, I’ve learnt quite a bit about myself.

Until next time
